ST. MARTIN’S CHURCH ON THE HILL
The most notable first-category monument, St. Martin’s Church from 1209 was devastated by the great earthquake that hit the area in 1880.
PARISH CHURCH OF ST. MARTIN
The neo-Gothic parish church in the town centre, built in 1900 after the earthquake, was designed by architect Herman Bollé.
THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS
The Church of the Holy Cross, designed by the artist Mladen Gaži and the architects Marko and Mladen Sremac, was dedicated in August 2020, and on that occasion, the relics of Blessed Alojzij Stepinac, donated to the church by Cardinal Bozanić, were installed in the altar.
Monuments
DRAŠKOVIĆ TOWER
The tower is a hold-over from the estate of the Drašković counts, located in the lovely park in the town centre. It is currently used for housing.

ETHNO-HOUSES
An ethno-village in the very heart of the town, in Ferenčakova street, has several preserved wooden Posavina houses, examples of the traditional local architecture.

MUSIC SCHOOL
The multiple award-winning school is known for its successes and pedagogical achievements beyond the borders of Lijepa naše. It consists of an elementary school (lasts 6 years) and a secondary music school (lasts 4 years). It has 40 employees and more than 350 students.
The director of the school is an academician, prof. dr. Dario Cebić, dr. art.
FOLKLORE SOCIETY PREPOROD
Folklore Society „PREPOROD“ is one of the oldest and best amateur societies in the Republic of Croatia. It was founded in 1907 and has been operating continuously until today. KUD "PREPOROD" is an association that gathers citizens for the purpose of preserving and developing autochthonous cultural heritage, contemporary achievements with elements of original folk culture and individual achievements or works in the field of culture of the Dugosel region, the Republic of Croatia and beyond. KUD operates in sections according to the interests and preferences of its members: folklore, instrumental, singing, drama-literary, fine art, puppetry, etc. It performs its public events or participates in other public events and manifestations.
